Supporting Terrestrial Paleoclimate Research
Isolab-Scientific support researchers around the world, so we are always proud when we get a credit in the paper’s they publish, like this one published in the Journal of the Geological Society:
“Carbon isotope analysis was undertaken by Iso-Analytical Ltd (now Isolab Scientific Ltd) using an elemental analyser linked to a Europa Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer. Measurements were calibrated to a wheat flour standard (13CV-PDB −26.43‰) and cross-checked during experimental runs against beet sugar (13CV-PDB −26.03‰) and cane sugar (13CV-PDB −11.64‰) standards. All were calibrated against the international standard IAEA-CH-6 (sucrose, 13CV-PDB −10.43‰). Analytical precision is 0.3%.”
This is from a paper entitled “Terrestrial palaeoclimate, mercury, atmospheric CO2 and land plants through the Late Devonian mass extinction Open Access” by John E. A. Marshall; Tim R. Astin; Olga P. Tel’nova and Pawel Gaca, published here: https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/gsl/jgs/article/182/5/jgs2024-187/659544/Terrestrial-palaeoclimate-mercury-atmospheric-CO2
