Shipping samples to Isolab Scientific for analysis

When shipping samples to Isolab Scientific the samples should be sent together with a customs declaration if required and a commercial invoice to identify them.

If using a courier such as FedEx / DHL / UPS, you may prefer to use their online commercial invoice.

You will need the following information to complete the commercial invoice:

• Reason for Import: Research samples for laboratory testing to destruction.
• CPC: 4000C33
• EORI: GB461389768000
• Commodity code: use appropriate tariff code below which best describes your samples
• No commercial value or 10 GBP

Apply a nominal value of a few pounds or Euros to the package for customs clearance purposes (e.g., 10 GBP).

Nb. CPC 4000C33 is used because all samples are tested to destruction.

Ensure the samples are properly prepared and packaged securely.  Samples should be clean, dry, and free from contaminates that could interfere with the analysis.  It is recommended to use small, sturdy boxes instead of envelopes and to label samples clearly with the appropriate reference number and analysis type.
